On the 18-24 cycle it only cost you $300 a year for full next release upgrade. CS5.5 also adds the full Adobe Audition audio editor into the suite, replacing the simpler Soundbooth tool from CS5.
Just making more money with a 0.5 release every year now, if you are one of those that Adobe wishes you are, you’ll be paying $100+ more every year for your upgrades. The new CS5.5 Production Premium steps the core production tools to new 5.5 versions, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Media Encoder, Device Central, Flash Professional, and Flash Catalyst.
Unbelievable 😡 Argh these guys make me mad. Each edition consisted of several Adobe applications, such as Photoshop, Acrobat, Premiere Pro or After Effects, InDesign, and Illustrator, which became industry standard applications for many graphic design positions.

The last time they did this was when AE 5.5 came out and it was a $99 upgrade and I tell you it was way more worth it than this one, even with rates adjusted for inflation. Adobe Creative Suite is a discontinued software suite of graphic design, video editing, and web development applications developed by Adobe Systems. Adding apps, removing apps, lame upgrade paths, (I license more half the suite individually, still no deal) The smart user-base has seen their crap ever since they released these “suites” in 2003. I tell ya their marketers (err… marketeers) have always been clueless and prey on the their user-bases stupidity. LOL, their subscription plan is a joke! For instance the production premium suite annual is $85 a month for 12 months $1020, why on earth would you do this?If you own 1 package in the suite you get it forever for $30 more.
